Experiencing Syria during the Assad regime was an actual unforgettable experience, the week I spent in Syria might be the most impactful week of my life.
Each and every aspect of this tragic yet resilient country stands out. The people still have so much pride and hope, everyone is wonderful, the history immense and the food to die for.
Damascus has gone down as my favorite city, its so rich and vibrant. Homs and Hama while devastated from decades of war still have so much to offer. Aleppo and Palmyra with it's recent ISIS occupation could alone could be traveled for weeks without learning everything that's just happened.
