An island nation divided, where ancient ruins meet sun-drenched coastlines with everything you love and hate from it's nearest neighbors.
The Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities of Cyprus are a living testament to the island's complex recent history where the UN buffer lines creates an incredibly strange atmosphere yet life goes on in paradise.
I explored a few cities and mostly 'lived it up' aboard cruises and wind surfing, the south feels much more like a Greek island and the north more like a forgotten wasteland from Fallout with countless ghost towns covered in bullet holes.
