The food is straight-up not fit for animal nor human consumption. Everything, even KFC, gave me food poisoning. Stick to Oreos and potato crisps.
Getting around is very hard, you can't really book anything online and theirs no such thing as a schedule. Just ask around until a solution presents itself but that does mean you can commute in crazy unexpected ways.
Train surf in Dhaka. It's a thrilling experience and nearing it's expected end. Simply try to sneak on the roof when no guards are watching and enjoy the ride.
Solo travel as a woman, even a group of women I would not suggest. Many of the locals have no concept of personal space, they will crowd around you and stare, touch, help themselves to whats in your pocket and even I, a 6-foot man, was sexually harassed multiple times
