Official Travel Advice

From the Australian DFAT Smartraveller

Exercise a high degree of caution

Challenges

Getting around is difficult, except flying. Dont drive cross country unless you're mentally prepared for it.

Do

Pack plenty of food poisoning medication.

Try out some of the refreshments in Pokhara and hangout on the lake.

Dont

I strongly suggest you don't do Everest Basecamp. It's not beautiful or fun compared to other more beautiful and rewarding mountains like Annapurna.
